MALE INVOLVEMENT IN ENDING FGM

Report of the training on masculinities

 

The online training on 20 April 2023 organised by the COP addressed the issue of masculinities. Indeed, it was an opportunity to deepen and continue the debates that took place within the group on the theme of masculinities. Mr Simon Dubois-Yassa (project manager, trainer and consultant on gender and masculinities at the NGO “Le monde selon les Femmes”) shared his expertise as a specialist trainer on masculinities.

It was also a question of having a common reference point on what masculinities are in order to mobilise them in field activities; and of analysing the challenges that organisations could face in the field by working on this subject.
