Webinar : innovative financing to ending harmful practices with UNICEF

On the 1st of December, at 3.30 PM CET, UNICEF will be presenting the paper: Innovative Financing for the Elimination of Harmful Practices.
 
 Speakers :
 

 Harriet Akullu is a Child Protection Specialist at UNICEF. She currently manages the technical front of UNICEF’s global effort towards the elimination of female genital mutilation and provides support to 22 countries where UNICEF works to eliminate FGM. She is a Social Worker by training, but over the last 18 years, her professional curiosity and research interest is in public policy with a focus on child protection, gender justice, social development and alternative financing for development. 

– Professor Zeljko Sevic is a UNICEF consultant who is developing a global strategy for innovative financing for the elimination of harmful practices. Professor Sevic has extensive experience in public finance management research and consulting, Development finance assessment country studies and resource mobilization for development.
