Are you an anti-FGM activist who likes to write? Do you want to contribute to existing knowledge and understanding on Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), amplify stories from your community and bring about change through your words?

The Community of Practice on Female Genital Mutilation (CoP-FGM) is looking for you! 

In the strive to work towards the abandonment of FGM and promote the rights and well-being of women and girls everywhere, the CoP-FGM has created a blog space for activists and professionals to share their thoughts, resources and opinions on FGM. The blog aims to provide a space for individual CoP members to share their knowledge, experiences and best practices. 

 

Who can write? 

This call is open to members of the CoP-FGM only. If you’re not already a member you can join our community of experts, professionals and activists today. 

What can you write about? 

All submissions to the blog must relate to the prevention of Female Genital Mutilation and care for survivors. In line with the CoP Charter, set your creativity free. 

How can you contribute to this blog? 

Send the CoP-FGM Moderators a short description of the proposed write-up stating the subject of the post, the main points it will make, any research or project that will be presented. Share the full article too if it is already written.
