AIDOS is cooperating with UNFPA Egypt in the organisation of a training on « Storytelling on FGM in Egypt », with the aim of contributing to end FGM in Egypt and in diaspora communities through the use of media.
The activity is part of the « Building Bridges between Africa and Europe to Tackle FGM » project, supported by the UNFPA-UNICEF Joint Programme on Eliminating Female Genital Mutilation: Accelerating Change.
The training will take place from the 22nd to the 26th of March in Cairo. The attendance is free and travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the project.
It is open to media or social workers and students. The participants can be Egyptians living in Egypt or in Europe.
We kindly ask you to please disseminate the call for participants among your networks and to let us know whether there are some candidates that you would like to recommend.
The call and form for applying are in attachment, both in English and Arabic.
The application’s deadline is the 9th of February.
