« REMOVAL OF SOTHIEUTES » IN SENEGAL – A TYPE IV FGM?

This video was produced by Fatou Kébé and GAMS Belgium in October 2019 as part of the CoP FGM discussion on Type IV FGM.

It adresses the practice of “removal of sothieutes” (warts), a vaginal cutting practiced in some Senegalese communities on newly married women.
